Its that time of year again, we have been busy building Fat Bikes. In addition to Surly complete bikes we have been busy building custom Carvers and Surlys. Take a look at a few of them below! We have expanded hours this winter Mon,Tue,Thurs, Friday 12-6 Sat 10-2 Closed Sunday Wednesay. Stop by and see us soon!

2012 UPCROSS kicks off this weekend!

Cyclocross racing has expanded to 9 races for 2012. Starting with Sherman Cross September 16th in Houghton and ending with finals on December 1 at Tourist Park in Marquette. We will see you are the races, or you can stop into the shop to check out our selection of CX bikes and accessories.

Marquette Bike Jam DH practice run

The Marquette Bike Jam was a huge success! Every event from the opening friday night criterium to the XC on Sunday was awesome. We would like to thank everyone for coming competing and watching this great event. We will see you next year for Bike Jam 2013!

Each year Bicycle Retailer magazine compiles a list of the top 100 bike shops in the country, this year the Quick Stop Bike Shop made that list!

Our hard working staff is very excited to be nominated for top 100 retailer in the country! It means alot to us to be recoginized for our efforts. However we couldnt have done it with out our great customers. We would like to thank everyone for coming to the shop and allowing us to do what we love to do, which is work on bikes, talk about bikes, help people with ther bikes, and ride bikes. We are on the constant search to better help our customers and have more fun doing so. As you have all seen there has been alot of changes at the QSBS over the last few years, we want to keep the momentum and continue improving. Last year we expanded our retail space, this year we are expanding out repair area, our goal is to fix more bikes, and get them back to you faster. Here is a few pictures of what we have done so far, we encourage you to stop in and see the progress.

Our tuesday night group rides will continue yearound, so grab your Pugsley and join us behind the shop at 6:30!

Trek Dirt Demo June 17

Join us June 17th from 10am to 3 pm in the South Trails parking lot, we will have a trailer full of mountain bikes for you to test ride. 29ers, 26″, Full suspension and hardtails of all shapes and sizes, you can ride them all and find the one that fits your riding style perfectly!
